Los Fresnos, TX Los Fresnos, TX Full-time Full-time $45,000 - $50,000 a year $45,000 - $50,000 a year 14 hours ago 14 hours ago 14 hours ago Los Fresnos TX YOUTH CARE WORKER MANAGER The YCW Manager is responsible for the oversight and operational performance of all Youth Care Workers in the Operations Center of an on-site facility.
Functions as the liaison with other leads and any other on-site vendors.
This position is responsible for ensuring all Youth Care Worker Supervisors, and Youth Care Workers are performing according to contract policies and are always providing line of sight supervision of minors.
Essential Functions Provides direct supervision to youth care supervisors, and youth care workers They will ensure that staff will always maintain line of-sight Complete all required documentation that pertains to the assigned department in a timely fashion that may include daily reports Ensure appropriate shelter care and line of sight supervision of unaccompanied minors by assigned staff is handled appropriately and is organized Support the Program Director through formal or informal supervision and provides staff with ongoing feedback Communicate frequently with Program Director Assists during transition and movement of children from one activity to the next and one physical location to another depending on department assigned Participate in ongoing meetings, conferences, and training programs as required Provide coverage for assigned staff when needed Be familiar with and competent with the execution of all evacuation procedures Able to evacuate at short notice to accompany residents possibly to a different city for several days at a time Document Significant Incident Reports (SIR) Email all action request forms and incident reports at the end of each shift Perform duties in a safe manner Follow all corporate safety policies Participate and supports safety meetings, training, and goals Ensure the safety and security of all children and the operating conditions within the area of responsibility Understand and follow all safety policies Maintain a clean and orderly work area Other duties as assigned Education and Experience High school diploma (or equivalent) required 2 Years of Child care supervision 2 Years of Management experience Must be Bilingual in English and Spanish with the ability to read, write and speak Must work collaboratively with other staff members, service providers and professionals Must possess a valid state driver's license Must be authorized to work in the U.
S.
